A 2 minute video allowing you to carefully watch the footwork involved in a simple ghosting routine.
This allows to to examine the flowing side-step movement through the T Zone.
A few things to take note of:
Always play a full and correct shot, even when ghosting. Think about where you would want your shot to land. Focus on your backswing as you approach the shot and the follow-through.
Also, contrary to popular belief, the back leg can come through slightly after the shot. This helps with the flow, balance and the ease of movement after the shot. If you keep the back foot completely anchored you can find yourself straining to keep balanced on the shot without toppling over, and the movement back to The T will become laboured and ‘ploddy’.
Enjoy!
